The STREAM IT consortium gathered online for a significant 2nd General Assembly meeting on November 8, 2024. This gathering united project partners to reflect on the accomplishments of the first ten months and to deliberate on the future roadmap.
Reflecting on the first 10 months
Project Coordinator Katalin Oborni from HETFA Research Institute began the session with a warm welcome. She addressed a range of topics, including project coordination, financial reporting, communication strategies, and the initiatives of the sisters’ projects that have already been established.
Throughout the session, each work package leader provided insights into their respective work package elaborating on key accomplishments and outlining the plans for the upcoming activities.

- WP3 – Gender and Diversity Inclusive Tools for Hands-on Activities – Evelina Šalavėjienė, Sunrise Tech Park
- WP4 – Sustainable Collaborative Networks – Mariya Zlateva, RAPIV
- WP5 – Contributing to Wider EU Objectives and “The European Manifesto for Gender-Incluseive STE(A)M Education and Carreers” – Jan Ertmann, Steinbeis
- WP6 – Communication, Dissemination and Stakeholders Engagement, Alba Morollón, F6S
Key Milestones achieved
Within the first 10 months of the project, various milestones were achieved:
- 15 deliverables were submitted
- 2 Co-creation working labs and 4 executive board meetings were held
- All Concept notes for implementing the work packages were made available
- WP2: Key research has been conducted, all deliverables are submitted
- WP3: The key tasks of this upcoming WP are under preparation.
- WP4: Virtual Makerspace, NIHs under preparation
- WP5: Impact assessment and ‘Policy webinars’ are under preparation, starting in 2025
- WP6: Successful communication campaigns, including the 2024 Awareness Raising Campaigns, Project Ambassadors are currently being recruited.
Looking ahead
The STREAM IT project is making remarkable strides in its mission to address the ongoing gender inequalities in STEM education. The collaborative efforts and insights gathered from the assembly will inform the upcoming stages of the project, ensuring continued progress.
